/n Hays Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a busy social housing maintenance contract covering properties throughout Lancaster.
/n This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled painter looking for long-term, consistent work carrying out planned and responsive decorating works within tenanted and voided social housing properties.
Your new role
/n As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for:
/n
/n
- Internal and external painting and decorating works
/n
- Preparing surfaces including filling, sanding and making good
/n
- Emulsion and gloss painting
/n
- Decorating void and occupied properties
/n
- Carrying out minor repairs prior to painting
/n
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
/n
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
/n
- Providing excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes
/n
/n
What you'll need to succeed
/n
/n
- Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator
/n
- Experience working within social housing, domestic maintenance or property repairs
/n
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
/n
- Good knowledge of health and safety procedures
/n
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
/n
- Own tools required
/n
/n
