Your new role involves the day-to-day management of a new build residential development in Lancaster, delivering 20+ timber-framed homes for a private developer. The role includes overseeing the project from early stages through to completion, managing subcontractors, coordinating trades, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. You will act as the key point of contact on site, liaising closely with the developer, consultants and suppliers to drive progress from start to finish.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven experience working on new build housing developments
- Strong knowledge of timber frame construction
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification
- Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and NHBC standards
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades effectively
- Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Availability to start ASAP or at short notice
