Your new role is broad, which includes supporting the management of a portfolio of family and charitable trusts. The role combines day-to-day administration with trust accounting and tax responsibilities, working closely with senior team members to ensure compliance, accuracy and high service levels for trustees and beneficiaries.
- Managing day-to-day trust administration, including payments, income distributions and maintaining accurate records
- Preparing trust accounts and supporting tax compliance, including income tax, CGT and IHT reporting
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, stockbrokers and other professional advisers, drafting correspondence as required
- Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, cashflows and income payments across trust portfolios
- Supporting wider trust operations, including beneficiary reporting, file management and ad hoc project work
