IT Governance & Assurance Manager

Your new company Our client is a long-established organisation responsible for supporting some of the UK's most important operational and infrastructure environments. Working across a large and geographically diverse estate, they provide critical services, manage complex facilities and deliver programmes that directly support national operational capability. With a strong focus on quality, governance and continuous improvement, the business is investing in its Information Technology function to ensure services, programmes and suppliers are operating effectively, risks are managed appropriately and technology outcomes remain aligned with wider organisational objectives. This is a business where governance is viewed as a value-adding function rather than a compliance exercise. Your new role This is a newly created leadership role within the Information Technology function, reporting directly to the Head of I T. The organisation has invested heavily in strengthening its technology leadership team and is now looking for an experienced governance professional to establish greater consistency, visibility and control across the department.
