Your new company Our client is a well-regarded defendant firm with offices nationwide. They are currently recruiting for several lead lawyer positions within their industrial disease department. This is a hybrid working position and a competitive salary is available dependent on experience. The firm is open to full-time and part-time positions. Your new role This Industrial Disease Lead Lawyer role will see you responsible for: Handling your own caseload of defendant industrial disease cases. Specialising in noise-induced hearing loss but may be required to handle other disease cases as required. Supervision/development of assistant fee earner(s). Reviewing evidence, instructing experts and attending conferences/trials. Liaising with insurer clients. Dealing with disclosure. What you\’ll need to succeed You should be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive, but those qualified through experience are also encouraged to apply. You must have previous experience handling your own NIHL caseload. Experience in other areas of industrial disease work is desirable. Defendant background is preferable. Applicants must be effective negotiators with excellent communication skills.
