They are seeking a qualified Solicitor to join their In House Litigation team, based primarily in Tamworth. This role offers the opportunity to manage a caseload of litigated Defendant motor claims for self-insured corporate and insurer clients. Your new role
As a Litigation Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload of litigated defendant motor claims, including personal injury, property damage, credit hire, LVI and fraud. You will run matters from issue to trial, assessing liability, valuing damages, negotiating effectively and ensuring all actions align with client expectations, service levels and KPIs. In addition to your own files, you will play an active part in team development by supervising and delegating work to Claims Administration Assistants, providing technical and procedural support where needed. Working from the Tamworth office, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain consistent, high‑quality litigation practices across the team. You will be willing to work from the Tamworth office during probation, then move to a hybrid model (3 office days / 2 home days, with Fridays office‑based).
What you'll need to succeed

- Qualified Solicitor status (circa 1-4 PQE)

- Ability to value damages accurately and manage files proactively from issue to trial
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with clients, peers and external stakeholders
- Strong initiative and self‑motivation, working effectively both independently and within structured processes
