HR Generalist - North / North East Lincolnshire - circa £35,000 plus excellent benefits. Commutable from Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Louth, North Lincolnshire.

This is a reputable and profitable company in the manufacturing sector which has been acquired by a US group and is therefore going through improvement programmes.

This is a BRAND NEW role in the business, reporting to the Head of HR. You will be tasked with providing a comprehensive, professional and efficient HR service to the business, to support the achievement of the people strategy. Your role will be varied and involved in all areas from:

  • HR Advisory, ER work (investigations, disciplinaries, grievances etc) and absence management
  • Upskilling Management via supporting and coaching
  • Leading on recruitment activities and supporting Line Managers with the process and best practice
  • Leading on the Development Training Programme - training requests and evaluation process
  • Employee lifecycle / administration work ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Policy and procedure review and updating - also get the opportunity to put forward suggestions for review to continually improve the HR function
  • Involvement in project work such as the imminent introduction of a new HR system, introducing and improving HR processes and documentation
  • Health and Wellbeing initiatives
  • Engagement survey planning, roll out and review
  • Monthly reports and KPI production support, as well as requests for adhoc HR data

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR Advisor or Partner to join a successful business that is on the improvement journey.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • An experienced HR Professional. Ideally you will be minimum CIPD Level 3 Qualified - or possess demonstrable suitable equivalent level of experience.
  • Up-to-date Employment Law knowledge
  • HR Advisory and ER experience
  • Recruitment knowledge
  • Ideally some L&D work/background
  • Excellent communication skills and influencing skills
