Your new company Hays Human Resources are currently supporting a professional services organisation with the recruitment of an HR Advisor on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract basis. This role will be responsible for providing a comprehensive generalist HR service to the business, where you will get involved in all aspects of employee lifecycle, with a key focus on employee relations. Your new role Providing first line generalist HR advice and support to employees on terms and conditions of employment and HR policies and procedures Offering advice and guidance on employee relations – performance, discipline, grievances, including policy/procedure and legislation, attending formal investigations and hearings Managing absence and attendance data, acting as the first-stage support for managers and liaising with occupational health Managing family-friendly policies and procedures i.e. flexible working requests, maternity, paternity, adoption leave Managing the leavers process i.e. exit interviews, liaising with payroll and sending out relevant correspondence Undertaking recruitment, selection and onboarding activities, including interviews What you’ll need to succeed Previous HR experience at an HR Advisor level with CIPD qualification or equivalent Previous experience with employee relations is essential.
