An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housing Revenues Officer to join a well-established Housing Association near Glasgow. This role will play a key part in delivering an effective income management service, supporting tenants to sustain their tenancies while maximising rental income.
Your new role
- Manage a designated patch of rent accounts, ensuring timely collection of rental income
- Proactively manage arrears through early intervention, payment arrangements, and tenant engagement
- Provide advice and support to tenants in relation to rent payments, benefits, and financial inclusion
- Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to support vulnerable tenants and sustain tenancies
- Take appropriate recovery action in line with policy, including issuing legal notices and preparing court documentation
- Monitor accounts and maintain accurate records using housing management systems
- Support continuous improvement of income management processes and performance targets
