Electrical Engineer - Warehouse Environment
Initial 6-week contract (with potential to extend) £27.50 per hour Hinckley LE10
Hays are working with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to support ongoing maintenance works within a large warehouse environment. This is an initial 6-week contract, with the strong possibility of extension as the project progresses.
The Role
- You will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and carrying out like-for-like electrical fitting replacements across the warehouse.
- The role is hands-on and operational, supporting the safe and efficient running of electrical systems and equipment.
- Completing like-for-like electrical fitting replacements.
- Inspecting, repairing and replacing electrical components and equipment.
- Responding to reactive maintenance issues where required.
- Completing tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, industrial or commercial environment.
- Ability to work independently and follow maintenance schedules.
- Strong awareness of electrical safety and compliance.
