The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Art and Design Teacher. This is a full-time job to start at Easter to provide long-term cover until the end of the academic year. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
Job Description
- Delivering engaging and creative Art and Design lessons.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECTs welcome to apply.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Recent experience teaching Art, DT, Textiles and/or Food at secondary school level.
- Strong behaviour/classroom management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
