In your new role as Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of highways and civil engineering schemes, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day site operations across multiple schemes
- Leading site teams, subcontractors and resources to achieve programme targets
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations and best practice
- Working on live highway environments, maintaining safety for the public and workforce
- Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, residents and the public
- Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and plans to ensure accurate delivery
- Monitoring quality in line with inspection and test plans
- Managing NEC4 processes, including early warnings and change control
- Ensuring compliance with Chapter 8 and CDM regulations
