The Role

LifeScan is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Engineer to help keep their manufacturing plant and facilities running safely, efficiently and reliably. This is a hands-on engineering role, supporting manufacturing equipment by day and facilities plant during night shift cover. Ideal for an electrically and mechanically skilled engineer with strong fault-finding experience in a regulated environment. Shift Pattern

12-hour shifts (7am - 7pm) & (7pm - 7am) working 4 on 4 off.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience is essential.
  • Good working knowledge of pneumatic systems and PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.
  • Experience in performing planned and unplanned maintenance.
  • Background working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with CMMS and document management systems.
  • Experience with low and extra-low voltage systems.
  • A logical, methodical approach to fault-finding and problem-solving.
  • Well-organised, proactive and comfortable managing your own workload.
  • Team-focused engineer with clear communication skills.
