Hays HR is delighted to be recruiting exclusively for a growing organisation located 15 minutes from Darlington straight down the A1, for a Group HR Advisor to join the company in a permanent position, reporting into the Managing Director. This is a good opportunity for an HR Advisor looking to work in a standalone position overseeing the day-to-day operations of HR, while supporting the directors across the multiple sites.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations within the HR function
  • Supporting with the onboarding and induction process
  • Implementing Policies and procedures across the organisation from a group perspective (TUPE IN)
  • Monitoring absence management
  • Providing support and guidance to line managers across the organisation
  • Manage employee relations case management, providing advice and guidance to managers in carrying out disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability issues
  • Payroll

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Strong employment legislation knowledge
  • Good communication
  • Experience in an HR environment previously
  • Experience working in a fast-paced industry
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards qualification
  • Knowledge of best practice in HR
  • Experience in operating HR & Payroll systems
  • Enthusiastic and engaging HR professional
