Hays HR is delighted to be recruiting exclusively for a growing organisation located 15 minutes from Darlington straight down the A1, for a Group HR Advisor to join the company in a permanent position, reporting into the Managing Director. This is a good opportunity for an HR Advisor looking to work in a standalone position overseeing the day-to-day operations of HR, while supporting the directors across the multiple sites.
Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations within the HR function
- Supporting with the onboarding and induction process
- Implementing Policies and procedures across the organisation from a group perspective (TUPE IN)
- Monitoring absence management
- Providing support and guidance to line managers across the organisation
- Manage employee relations case management, providing advice and guidance to managers in carrying out disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability issues
- Payroll

- Strong employment legislation knowledge

- Experience in an HR environment previously
- Experience working in a fast-paced industry
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards qualification
- Knowledge of best practice in HR
