Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire HP19
Salary: Β£14.20 per hour PAYE / Β£16.60 per hour Umbrella PAYE
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Minimum 2 months β potential to extend)

Your New CompanyA leading housing provider is seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance / Estate Operative worker to support the upkeep of communal green spaces across residential schemes in Aylesbury and surrounding areas. Your New RoleGround maintenance is the core focus of this role. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality garden services and maintaining outdoor communal areas. Your duties will include: Maintaining landscaped areas and communal green spaces Clearing pathways and hard surfaces of debris Operating landscaping machinery (ride-on mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, blowers) Providing excellent service to residents β Working outdoors all year round, in all weather conditions Keeping accurate records and sharing best practices The role starts and ends daily at the base located at postcode HP19. Working hours are strictly 8:00am to 4:00pm, and all travel between sites is conducted within these hours. This is a social housing contract, and the role involves maintaining communal areas across residential schemes. What You'll Need to SucceedYou don't need formal qualifications to apply β we're looking for someone with the right attitude and experience. To be successful in this role, you will need: β Recent experience in grounds maintenance or gardening Good understanding of health & safety and COSHH regulations Basic IT skills and comfort using mobile devices (training provided) Strong customer service and teamwork skills A positive attitude and punctuality A full UK manual driving licence (essential) Desirable but not essential:PA1 and PA6 weed-killing licences NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Horticulture (or equivalent) PA4b NPTC Certificate
