Your new company is partnering with a public sector organisation in Gloucester to recruit for an IT Deployment Team Leader vacancy on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is paying c£40k + benefits and offering hybrid working arrangements 4 days in office 1-day WFH.

The main focus of the role is to lead the IT deployment / desktop team that is responsible for the organisation's IT equipment estate. The team look after imaging and asseting new and existing stock, deploying hardware and owning the IT lifecycle of equipment. You'll be involved in the day-to-day management of the deployment engineers, providing direction, training, appraisals and one-to-ones. Technical knowledge will be beneficial as you may act as an escalation point - however, this isn't essential.

To be considered for this role, you will need supervisor / team lead / manager experience across a similar IT desktop, deployment or service desk team. Working in the public sector, specifically NHS will be extremely beneficial. Knowledge of the Microsoft stack and exposure with hardware / desktop deployment will be important. You'll need to be a confident communicator with strong management skills.
