An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join the HR team based at the Glasgow Head Office. In this varied and hands-on role, you will support managers and employees across a broad range of employee relations matters, helping to maintain best practice and a positive workplace culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and making a real impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice to General Managers and employees on all employee relations matters
  • Supporting discipline, grievance and absence management cases
  • Interpreting and applying HR policies and procedures consistently across the business
  • Monitoring absence levels and analysing HR data, trends and processes
  • Supporting Health & Safety administration and record-keeping
  • Delivering accurate and timely general HR administration

To be successful as an HR Advisor, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar employee relations-focused role
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment practices
  • Confidence advising managers and employees on sensitive people matters
  • A methodical approach to managing absence data and HR records
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in supporting people and continuous improvement
