Your new company is based on the outskirts of Glasgow, recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday-Friday 8am - 4.30pm with good flexibility offered on start and finish times. The role is office-based with on-site parking and accessible by public transport.

Your new role involves reporting to the Management Accountant and working as part of a sub-team of 2 within a wider finance team. The Finance Assistant will undertake a range of duties, mainly including sales ledger tasks such as:

  • Issuing and processing client invoices
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Handling and resolving queries
  • Updating and maintaining accurate client records
  • Supporting with month-end tasks
  • General associated duties

What you'll need to succeed: Experience in a similar finance assistant position is essential. You will be a friendly and professional communicator (both verbal and written) as you will liaise with clients and colleagues daily via telephone, email, and face-to-face. You will have a team player attitude and be comfortable undertaking a varied workload to support your colleagues.
