Your new company Hays is delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit an Employee Relations Caseworker on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ER professional to play a key role in managing complex casework, advising managers, and supporting the continuous improvement of ER practices.

You will work closely with HR colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation, providing expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters while supporting policy development, training and wider organisational change.

Your new role As an Employee Relations Caseworker, you will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for complex employee relations cases, providing clear, practical and legally sound advice
  • Manage end-to-end ER casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability matters
  • Lead and support investigations and hearings, ensuring fair processes and robust documentation
  • Coach and support managers to build confidence and capability in handling ER issues
  • Review and contribute to the development and updating of ER policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and best practice
  • Provide proactive ER consultancy to departments, helping to prevent issues through early intervention
  • Design and deliver ER-focused training for managers
