Requirement 3x 35 hours & 1x 28 hours FTC until February 2027

Your new company

We're looking for a passionate and motivated Careers Adviser to support individuals of all ages to make informed decisions about their future. This is a people-focused role centred around coaching and guidance, helping clients build confidence, develop career management skills, and progress into sustainable employment, education or training opportunities. You'll work across a range of settings - including schools, community environments, and partner organisations - delivering both one-to-one and group-based support. No two days are the same.

Your new role

  • Deliver tailored careers information, advice and guidance through a coaching-led approach
  • Support individuals to develop career management skills, set goals and achieve positive outcomes
  • Carry out in-depth assessments to understand barriers, strengths and future aspirations
  • Provide practical support at key transition points (e.g. into employment, education or training)
  • Deliver engaging group sessions and workshops
  • Build strong relationships with schools, training providers, employers and community partners
  • Use labour market insight to inform guidance and support decision-making
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement

What you'll need to succeed

  • Postgraduate qualification in Career Guidance and Development (or equivalent recognised accreditation)
  • Proven experience delivering careers advice and guidance
  • Strong coaching and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of career pathways, education routes and employability support
  • Ability to work with diverse groups, including young people and adults
  • Confident using digital tools and systems
