Are you a compassionate and committed teaching assistant professional looking to make a meaningful impact? We're supporting a local Primary School in the Cheltenham area with a full-time teaching assistant supply cover on a long-term basis. This role would start as soon as possible and finish at the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to build relationships and make a difference at various local primary schools, and to potentially secure long-term supply/permanent contracts in the future.

The Role

This is a term-time only, temporary role. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of learning and supporting children, supporting the class teacher and utilising good behaviour management. The role starts September 2026 and finishes December 2026 (long-term supply).

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children within the last 5 years.
  • Level 2 or 3 TA qualifications are desirable.
  • Good behaviour management skills.
  • Are patient, resilient, and able to build strong relationships.
  • Are committed to supporting class teachers deliver the best quality learning.

Location

Based in Cheltenham or surrounding areas. ASAP start.
