Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role from September 2026? We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work full-time in one of our partner schools in Cheltenham, supporting pupils with additional needs.
The Role - Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and individual support strategies
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Support classroom management and encourage positive behaviour
We're Looking For:
- Experienced Teaching Assistants or individuals with SEN support experience
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Flexibility and reliability in a school environment
