Your new company

Our client is a global defendant firm with offices nationwide. They are currently recruiting for a solicitor/CILEX to join their highly-regarded fraud departments in either Manchester or Liverpool. The role has a high level of hybrid flexibility and a competitive salary. There is a retrain opportunity for solicitors with a background in defendant personal injury and a strong interest in insurance fraud work.

Your new role

This fraud role will see you responsible for:

  • Handing your own caseload of fraudulent claims including motor, EL/PL and organised fraud rings.
  • Leading high-value, complex fraud claims.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with a range of large insurer clients.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Partaking in business development opportunities to help grow the reputation of the department.
  • Undertaking litigation, advocacy and trial preparation.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive. Experience running your own caseload of litigated insurance fraud claims is beneficial. Applicants should be from a litigation background with previous experience running their own caseload. Senior applicants should have strong leadership and mentoring skills to help support junior members of the team.
