Your new company This company is looking for a Flight Software V&V Engineer to join their Flight Software department in Didcot, Oxfordshire. Our client is a world leader in aerospace with some very exciting & ground-breaking missions with the chance to travel around the world with the company. Your new role In this role, you will perform verification, validation, and integration of Flight Software, support the development and delivery of V&V plans, and set up and maintain test environments. You will review requirements, ICDs, architecture, design, and plans, and support all aspects of testing, including non-functional and automated regression tests. Additionally, you will identify test equipment and solutions, coordinate with other teams to identify software needs and solutions, participate in Mission System Test and Simulation campaigns, and support knowledge transfer and provide technical review inputs across the organisation. What you\’ll need to succeed Strong hands-on automated and manual testing skills Experience with Git Proven experience developing software test environments, and QT-based interactive software applications Strong programming skills in Python Experience in software development for real-time embedded systems (C/C++) Experience of implementing real-time systems and software Experience in developing and implementing test plans
