Your new role As a Financial Inclusion Adviser, you'll be based within GP Practices across Glasgow, working alongside healthcare professionals to support patients experiencing financial difficulties. You'll provide holistic financial inclusion advice, helping clients maximise their income, access welfare benefits, manage debt and improve their overall financial wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include carrying out benefit entitlement checks, completing and submitting applications to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Social Security Scotland, gathering supporting evidence, assisting with Mandatory Reconsiderations and appeals, negotiating with creditors, providing budgeting advice and identifying additional funding opportunities.
