Are you ready to take full ownership of a finance function in a growing, sustainability-focused business? Hays Senior Finance is exclusively partnering with an international engineering consultancy supporting global industrial leaders in their transition to a more responsible and sustainable future. With 230 employees and a turnover of £25m, this is a pivotal role in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.
The Role
- As Financial Controller, you will be the focal point for all financial matters in the UK business and a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Reporting to the UK Managing Director and working closely with the UK Group CFO, you will:
- Lead all aspects of financial control, reporting, and planning
- Drive process improvement and financial governance
- Support strategic decision-making and business growth
- Collaborate with Group finance leaders as the business transitions to a UK Shared Service Centre model
What We're Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within engineering, consultancy, or project-based environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and business partnering skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
