Your new company is a very well-known London infrastructure business with a focus on sustainability and providing a cleaner future for the UK. The company has gone from strength to strength in the last few years and built a robust organisation. They have recently restructured the finance function and have a newly created Finance Manager role to take control of a broad position from IFRS reporting to business partnering.

Your new role involves reporting into the Financial Controller, operating in a lean finance function, with a truly broad role focused across IFRS reporting to business partnering with operations. Duties include:

  • IFRS reporting on group performance
  • Monthly management accounting including variance analysis and presentation of board pack
  • Business partnering with operations, including chairing budget meetings
  • Ownership of budget and forecasting for the group
  • Ad hoc Tax and Treasury support

What you'll need to succeed: You will need to be a qualified accountant, ideally from an ACA/ACCA background who has gained hands-on experience of reporting in accordance with IFRS. You should be interested in working in the Infra sector, for a business with relevance to society as a whole. The ideal professional will be a strong communicator, looking for a broad role.
