Your new role as a Finance Assistant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance function. This is a varied, hands-on position where you will be responsible for transactional finance duties and ensuring the smooth running of core processes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and payment requests
  • Supporting weekly and monthly payment runs and electronic transfers
  • Raising sales invoices and monitoring outstanding receivables
  • Following up on overdue payments and resolving customer account queries
  • Assisting with month-end processes, including financial reporting support
  • Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring ledger accuracy
  • Maintaining organised financial records and digital filing systems
