Hays Non-Qualified Finance are recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of an established manufacturing organisation based on-site in Haverfordwest. We are looking for someone who is highly numerate, detail-driven, and able to take a hands-on and proactive approach to their work. The successful candidate will be comfortable supporting a wide range of finance activities and confident working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities and experience required include:
- Production reconciliations
- Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing customer orders and managing purchase orders
- Supporting Accounts Payable with invoice matching
- Managing petty cash and credit card reconciliations
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and month-end activities (accruals prepayments)
- CAPEX tracking and monitoring
- Supporting year-end and audit preparation
- Stock monitoring (packaging ingredients) and process improvement initiatives
The role requires strong Excel, Outlook, and Word skills, along with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple priorities and working under pressure. AAT qualification (or part-qualified) and experience within FMCG or a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
