Your new company Our client is a leading, continually growing facilities management company providing FM services to corporate office environments for a variety of clients in London & around the UK. They are hiring a Maintenance Technician to help oversee the day to day running of the site. Your new role As the new Maintenance Technician, you will be based on-site with the client. The individual will be able to respond to electrical, mechanical and plumbing reactive requests as required. Responsibilities include: Management of contractors: including routine contractors e.g. security guards, cleaners, gardeners etc. but also overseeing work and documentation supplied by contractors who come to site as part of the PPM schedule or on request. Electrical: Minor electrical works such as replacing damaged sockets, switches, lamp replacement, light fitting replacement, resetting tripped circuits, repair of small appliances and white goods, periodic safety checks. Air Conditioning/HVAC: Basic refrigeration maintenance, cleaning of air filters, coils, strainers. General maintenance including painting, plumbing, carpentry and joinery Plant Maintenance: Replacing AHU filters, cleaning strainers, intake/extracts, valve exercise, performing operational checks on the plant.
