Your new role
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will take technical ownership of electrical design delivery across a range of building services projects. Working primarily from the office in Derby, with some hybrid flexibility, you will be responsible for producing compliant, practical designs and supporting projects from concept through to construction. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and collaborating closely with project delivery, commercial, and management teams.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience working as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer within building services
- Background within an electrical contractor or building services consultancy
- Strong knowledge of UK electrical regulations and standards
- Experience delivering medium to large-scale projects
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
