Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Deployment Engineer to support the Windows 11 Refresh program. The role will play a key part in the end-to-end device lifecycle, including building, deploying, refreshing, and decommissioning devices across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with large-scale Windows OS rollout projects and end-user computing environments.
Location: Raynesway - Derby
Contract: 1 Month
Pay Rate: A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £19.85/hr PAYE OR £25.75/hr (umbrella company)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the RR Windows 11 Refresh initiative across corporate devices
- Build, image, and configure laptops and desktops to enterprise standards
- Perform Windows 11 deployments and refreshes using approved tools and processes
- Support large-scale rollouts, including pilot and production deployments
- Decommission legacy devices in line with asset and security policies
- Troubleshoot deployment, imaging, and user issues during rollout phases
- Work closely with End User Computing, Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and deployment records
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and configuration standards
Mandatory / Must-have Requirements:
- Active SC (Security Clearance) - candidates must already hold a valid SC clearance or should be eligible for it.
- No dual nationality
