A rare opportunity to join this established organisation, my client is seeking an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper with property sector experience, to support the financial administration of one of their subsidiaries. After an initial introduction to the business, this role will be a predominately remote / home-based role. This role is being offered on a permanent part-time basis (circa 7 hours a week).
Your new role:
- Raising and issuing rent demands
- Monitoring and managing rent arrears
- Purchase ledger management
- VAT returns and compliance
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting the preparation of management information and reports
- General bookkeeping and finance administration duties
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous bookkeeping experience
- Experience within the commercial property sector (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of purchase ledger and VAT processes
- Experience using QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and manage their own workload
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
