Your new interim role: You will be joining a nationally known manufacturing business specialising in the production of a range of products used in the Windows and Doors industries and more. Due to a movement within the team and with some ongoing recruitment, the site is looking for an interim Health Safety manager to assist them on a short-term interim basis.
Key Responsibilities Duties:
- Promote a culture of safety in the workplace and perform regular site inspections to check compliance.
- Reviewing all risk assessments, method statements, COSHH assessments, work processes etc and ensuring they meet industry safety standards.
- Carry out toolbox talks and relevant training.
- Ensuring safe installation of equipment and overseeing external contractors.
- Conducting in-house training sessions on health and safety awareness.
- Reviewing all work procedures and ensuring they meet industry safety / environmental standards.
- Preparing and filing reports for accidents and other safety breaches.
- Tracking incident metrics and applying findings.
This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.
