Your new company is a respected property organisation seeking a practical and proactive Facilities Manager to support the smooth day-to-day running of a multi-site office portfolio. You will be joining an experienced Facilities team and will benefit from coaching and development within the role. This is an excellent opportunity if you have an electrical or mechanical background and are looking to further your career as a Facilities Manager.
Your new role involves helping maintain safe, compliant and well-functioning buildings by supporting statutory compliance, keeping records up to date and contributing to planned maintenance programmes. You will also manage reactive maintenance tasks and coordinate contractors. Additionally, you will carry out first line troubleshooting and manage maintenance jobs through the helpdesk system. You will be involved in improving sustainability within the portfolio, which includes assessing water, energy and waste reduction plans and supporting improvement projects.
What you'll need to succeed: In order to be successful for this role, you will have an understanding of hard and soft facilities management services and ideally have prior experience within building services (electrical and/or mechanical) to carry out first line troubleshooting.
