Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Your new company: A well-established organisation based in South Essex is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their high-performing finance team on a temporary basis. You will be working within a supportive and collaborative environment, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Your new role: As Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. Key duties will include:
- Chasing outstanding invoices via phone and email
- Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
- Building strong relationships with customers to resolve queries efficiently
- Producing aged debt reports and providing updates to senior management
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in a Credit Controller or similar role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good Excel and system skills
- Due to location, you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle
