Its in-house legal teamsupports a wide range of enforcement, litigation and regulatory matters, providing lawyers with the opportunity to work on complex cases that havegenuine public importance.

The team iscollaborative, supportive and highly regarded, offering exposure to advocacy, tribunal proceedings, investigations, public law and regulatory enforcementwork.

The role The organisation is seeking either a Legal Officer (NQ-2 PQE) or a Lawyer (3+ PQE) to join the team.

The level ofappointment will depend on your experience and background.

You will providelegal advice on enforcement and regulatory matters, support or lead litigationand tribunal proceedings, manage relationships with internal and externalstakeholders, and contribute to the effective delivery of legal services acrossthe organisation.

Forthose joining at Legal Officer level, this role offers an excellent platform todevelop litigation, advocacy and regulatory law experience with support fromexperienced lawyers.

For candidates joining as a Lawyer, there will be greaterresponsibility for managing complex cases, providing strategic legal advice andhandling higher-profile matters.

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive in England and Wales or commonwealth country.

Strong legal research, analytical and drafting skills.

The ability to provide clear, practical legal advice and exercise sound judgement.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships across a range of teams.

An interest in or substantial experience of litigation, regulatory enforcement, tribunal proceedings, investigations or advocacy.

For appointment at Lawyer level, experience handling more complex litigation, enforcement or regulatory matters will be expected.
