Partner: Hays Specialist Recruitment Your New Role Hays Specialist Recruitment are currently recruiting for a qualified Electrician (Level 3) to join a secure site maintenance team at HMP Leyhill near Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large commercial and operational environment, carrying out a mixture of planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding and installation work across a diverse property estate.

The role offers long-term stability, varied work and the chance to play a key role in maintaining essential services within a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.

Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on electrical systems and equipment.

Complete installations, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.

Ensure all work is carried out in line with current regulations and health safety standards.

Complete inspection, testing and maintenance records accurately.

Support maintenance projects and minor works.

Escort and supervise contractors when required.

Maintain compliance with site security procedures and operational requirements.

Contribute to excellent service delivery across the estate.

What You'll Need NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
