Your new company A leading facilities and engineering services provider is seeking three Electrical Engineers / Electrical Testers to join its established team supporting a large and diverse defence estate in Gloucestershire.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly secure environment, maintaining critical infrastructure across operational facilities, commercial buildings, hangars and residential accommodation.
Your new role As an Electrical Engineer Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient operation of electrical systems across the estate.
Key responsibilities will include: Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and fixed wire testing.
Undertaking distribution board inspections and electrical compliance checks.
Performing emergency lighting testing and associated remedial works.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across commercial and domestic installations.
Carrying out minor electrical installations and upgrades.
Supporting the maintenance of specialist electrical infrastructure.
Responding to emergency call-outs as part of an on-call rota.
Building strong working relationships with customers, stakeholders and colleagues across the site.
