As an Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a variety of building projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating detailed electrical designs and schematics.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Utilising industry-standard software to produce accurate and efficient designs.
- Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Typically taking on 3 to 5 projects a year, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Project types include: care homes, hotels, warehouses, and refurbishments.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant electrical experience.
- Proven experience in electrical design within the building services industry.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
