We're recruiting for a Mechanical Project Supervisor to support major new-build water treatment works across Surrey and Slough. This role is with a Tier 1 contractor delivering large-scale clean water infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

  • Supervise mechanical installation works on new-build water treatment schemes
  • Oversee subcontractors and ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Monitor progress, safety, and compliance across mechanical activities
  • Support commissioning of pumps, pipework, valves, tanks, and process equipment
  • Ensure all works meet project specifications, industry standards, and H&S requirements
  • Liaise with project engineers, site managers, and client representatives

Requirements

  • Previous experience supervising mechanical works on new-build water treatment plants
  • Background with Tier 1 contractors or major utilities frameworks
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ/HNC/HND or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems used in water treatment environments
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain site discipline
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS/ECS Card
  • EUSR National Water Hygiene Card
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • City & Guilds Authorised Person Module
