We are recruiting a qualified Economics Teacher on behalf of a boys school based in Surrey. The role is for a January start, however the school would like the ideal candidate to begin induction ASAP. You will teach Economics up to A-Level, and Maths up to GCSE level. There is also an opportunity for the right candidate to develop into a head of department role. Salary: up to £58k. Days: Between 160 and 170 days (TBC). Parking is available on site. As an Economics Teacher you will be responsible for the below: Offer imaginative and well-structured lessons across the age and ability range. Monitor and record students’ progress in accordance with departmental and school policies. Attend and contribute to the weekly departmental meetings. Contribute to the development of departmental resources. Keep an oversight of the work and progress of pupils, especially those who demonstrate potential or have specific learning needs. Be keen to develop through INSET and CPD programmes. Be active in exploring innovative ways of delivering ICT through Economics and Maths and in promoting independent learning.
