Your new school: You will be working for Hays as bank staff where you will be placed in various settings including primary and secondary schools. You will be working with children aged 4 to 16 years, which can be tailored to your preferences. When the schools are open, we will help support you with as much or as little work as you need.
Your new role: As a teaching assistant, you will be expected to support settings, working where required; supporting the pupils with their learning, helping set up and tidy the rooms, working with the children and ensuring the environment is safe at all times. The role as a temporary teaching assistant means you have complete flexibility over the days you would like to work week by week.
What you'll need to succeed:
- We are ideally looking for Level 2 or Level 3 qualified teaching assistants.
- We are open to unqualified candidates that have recent relevant experience that can be referenced.
- The schools that you are placed in will expect you to be hands-on and willing to help out in the setting.
- Roles can include a variety of working in a classroom with children alongside working one-to-one with a specific pupil supporting their development.
