We're recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to support major new-build water treatment works across South Dorset. This role sits within a Tier 1 contractor delivering large-scale clean water infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

  • Support electrical engineering delivery on new-build water treatment schemes
  • Assist with design reviews, technical submissions, and compliance checks
  • Coordinate subcontractors and monitor installation quality
  • Ensure all electrical works meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, and client representatives

Requirements

  • Essential: Previous experience on new-build water treatment works
  • Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or major utilities frameworks
  • Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (Degree/HNC/HND)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems used in water treatment environments
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts, CDM, ATEX, DSEAR
