We're recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to support major new-build water treatment works across South Dorset. This role sits within a Tier 1 contractor delivering large-scale clean water infrastructure projects.
Role Overview
- Support electrical engineering delivery on new-build water treatment schemes
- Assist with design reviews, technical submissions, and compliance checks
- Coordinate subcontractors and monitor installation quality
- Ensure all electrical works meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, and client representatives
Requirements
- Essential: Previous experience on new-build water treatment works
- Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or major utilities frameworks
- Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (Degree/HNC/HND)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems used in water treatment environments
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts, CDM, ATEX, DSEAR
