Your new company will lead the planning, creation, and optimisation of high quality digital content to support organisational priorities, engagement, and ensure accessible, user centred online experiences. Working within a public sector environment, the post holder will champion openness, transparency, and service focused communication across all digital channels.

Your new role includes:

  • Developing and delivering a digital content strategy aligned with organisational objectives and statutory requirements.
  • Owning and maintaining the content roadmap, ensuring digital content supports service delivery and public engagement.
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to translate complex policy, guidance, and service information into clear, accessible public facing content.
  • Producing, editing, and publishing high-quality content for websites, intranet, email, and social media.
  • Ensuring all content is accurate, accessible, user centred, and compliant with public sector standards (including WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility requirements).
  • Creating engaging multimedia content (graphics, video, infographics) to support campaigns and service updates.
  • Overseeing content within the organisation's Content Management System (CMS), ensuring information architecture remains intuitive.
