Hays are now looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer for one of our local clients:

  • £550 p/d Inside IR35
  • Remote
  • 6 month+ contract
  • Must hold SC Clearance

Supporting a critical policing platform within a legacy Oracle-based environment. You'll provide L3 support, maintain and enhance infrastructure, support application and database teams, and contribute to automation and CI/CD improvements.

Key Skills Required

  • Support and maintenance of legacy applications and infrastructure
  • CI/CD pipeline development and support
  • Automated testing and code refactoring
  • Nginx, Apache Tomcat and HTTP services
  • ETL processes
  • Containerisation and virtualisation (Docker, VMware)
  • Elasticsearch administration and support
  • Oracle 11 administration including RAC, RMAN and Partitioning
  • Experience with auditing and protective monitoring integrations
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Oracle Solaris environments
