A well-established social housing provider is seeking a Reactive Maintenance Plumber to join its team on a temporary basis.

The Role

  • Carry out responsive and planned plumbing maintenance across occupied social housing properties, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Deliver reactive plumbing repairs in occupied social housing properties.
  • Work on hot and cold-water systems, pipework, fittings, and associated components.
  • Carry out installations, repairs, and replacements including minor plumbing renewals.
  • Support water hygiene and legionella control activities, including flushing, inspections, basic monitoring, and remedial tasks (training can be provided where required).
  • Complete minor building works associated with plumbing repairs.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in reactive maintenance within social housing or domestic settings.
  • Full UK driving licence (clean preferred).
  • Basic DBS clearance - must be in place by start date.
  • Experience or awareness of water hygiene / legionella processes.
