About the Role
Are you passionate about student welfare and safeguarding? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join our team in Huddersfield. This is a vital role at the heart of our commitment to ensuring the safety, protection, and well-being of every student.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage safeguarding procedures across the school.
- Act as the first point of contact for all safeguarding concerns.
- Work closely with staff, students, families, and external agencies to promote a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with safeguarding legislation.
- Deliver safeguarding training and guidance to staff.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a safeguarding or pastoral role within an educational setting.
