Your new company
You will be joining a well-established, privately owned electrical engineering contractor based in Derby. Due to a strong and growing pipeline of work, the business is looking to strengthen its technical team with the appointment of an experienced Electrical Revit Technician.
Your new role
As an Electrical Revit Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 3D models and coordinated drawings for a range of building services projects. This is an office-based role where you will work closely with design engineers, project managers, and the wider commercial team to support the delivery of fully coordinated electrical designs. You will play a key role in the BIM process, ensuring all models and drawings are accurate, compliant, and delivered to project deadlines. You will also be involved in clash detection, design coordination meetings, and continuous improvement of BIM standards across the business.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience working as a Revit Technician within building services, with an electrical bias
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and BIM processes
- Understanding of electrical building services systems (lighting, power, containment, etc.)
- Experience producing detailed models, layouts, and coordinated drawings
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other disciplines to resolve clashes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects
- Confident communication skills and a proactive, professional approach
