They provide a broad range of services with a strong focus on ecological consultancy, supporting projects from early design through to delivery. Their work spans major infrastructure schemes, large-scale developments, and conservation-led initiatives, working closely with clients to balance development with environmental protection and sustainability.
Your new role involves supporting as an ornithologist across multiple fieldwork and offshore wind projects in the Midlands and south. We are looking for someone who is available on a full-time basis on a rolling contract but open to availability options you can offer.
Responsibilities may include:
- Carrying out bird surveys (e.g. breeding, wintering, vantage point)
- Analysing survey data to identify species presence and behaviour
- Advising project teams on ornithological constraints
- Ensuring compliance with wildlife legislation
- Supervising works on site where required
- Keeping up to date with best practice and guidance
What you'll need to succeed:
- Ability to deliver clear reports
